With COVID-19 making the regular annual remembrance day impossible in Burnham on Sea, HM Coastguard approached us to provide a range of aerial drone photographs of their small, socially distanced parade.
The Coastguard team held a small parade on the jetty to commemorate those who have died in the wars. Before the minutes silence at 11am, we took some overhead drone photos for their social media channels—helping them to share their respects with the local community and engage with their online audience.
The unique perspective of a drone allowed them to communicate the message of social distancing, while paying their respects.
